Rusty Memories

Happy Friday to ya! I’m so glad we’ve made it to the weekend together! Living in the country, you see many abandoned farmhouses and barnyards. Some may say go ahead and start the demolition, but I think the old dilapidated homesteads are a beautiful site. I imagine what family used to call the place home…how many birthdays, 4th of July picnics, and Christmases were celebrated at the old residence. I will always run into an old automobile that has been laid to rest in a field of weeds. I can feel the itchy grass now! But I put on my red boots and take one for the sake of photography! LOLs. Sometimes they have even taken shelter under the lean-to shed of an old barn. Unfortunately, most of the time they are either too far gone, or people just don’t have the time or money to restore them to their former glory. So they are left to sit as spectators in the old barnyard or edge of a field. A metal frame of tarnished memories. Today I’m attaching just a few picks of some of the rusty spectators I’ve encountered. Please enjoy!
